Duke And UNC Will Face Off In A Rubber Match In Tomorrow's ACC Semifinal

Duke and North Carolina split their first two games of the season, each winning at home during the regular season. On Friday, the two archrivals will face off for a third time.

This afternoon, top-seeded UNC easily handled Miami 78-53, getting revenge for a blowout loss to the Hurricanes earlier in the year.

Today's second match-up at Brooklyn's Barclays Center was a classic, in which sixth-seeded Duke outlasted No. 2 seed Louisville 81-77.

The two Tobacco Road powerhouses are now set to face off on Friday night in Brooklyn in one of the ACC Tournament semifinals, and it should be pretty fantastic.

In the first match-up of the year on February 10, Duke knocked off then-No. 8 UNC 86-78. Mercurial Duke star Grayson Allen led the way for the Blue Devils, scoring 25 points on 15 shots and hitting 7-of-12 shots from three-point range. As a team, Duke hit over 48-percent of its threes in the big win.

North Carolina won the return game on March 4, led by 28 points off the bench for Joel Berry II, who was a perfect 5-for-5 from three. Isaiah Hicks also came up big for the Tar Heels, scoring 21 points in just 22 minutes of play.

No. 6 North Carolina and No. 14 Duke will face off at the Barclays Center at 7:00 p.m. ET tomorrow night. Buckle up, Brooklyn.
