Today's Iona-UNC game is very likely to be a laugher with the Tar Heels coming out on top, at least according to most pundits. Ahead of the game, ESPN has released its projected score prediction for the NCAA Tournament matchup.

Per ESPN's Basketball Power Index (BPI), the Tar Heels have a 98.2-percent chance of winning the game, and are expected to top Iona by 29.5 points. That mark is the second-highest projected win total of the day.

The Duke Blue Devils currently boast both the best odds of winning and the highest projected margin of victory. They have been given a 99.1-percent chance of winning against North Dakota State, with a 31.6 point margin of victory.

The UNC game is still slated to be a potentially unwatchable blowout, as Yahoo! Sports described.

No game has more blowout potential than Duke-North Dakota State, but this one is close. Iona, while not as fast-paced as years past, still likes to run. That’s a formula for getting your brains beat in as a No. 16 seed facing North Carolina.

The Tar Heels beat all but three of their non-conference opponents by double-digits during the regular season, while Iona could only beat two non-conference opponents - both by five points or less.

Suffice it to say, the Gaels are heading into this game as a reasonably substantial underdog and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out why.

The game will be played at 9:20 p.m. ET on TNT.
