One of the members of UNC's national championship team has inked a pro contract.
Isaiah Hicks, who helped North Carolina capture the 2017 NCAA Tournament title, has inked a two-way contract with the New York Knicks.
Because of his two-way status, Hicks can only spend a limited time on the Knicks' NBA roster this season. Therefore, the 6-foot-9 power forward will mostly play in the G-League.
Hicks went undrafted out of UNC but did spend time in training camp with the Charlotte Hornets before being cut.
A five-star recruit out of high school in 2013, Hicks was named the ACC's Sixth Man of the Year in 2016.
He scored 1,124 points and grabbed 546 rebounds in his career.
