Free Agent Raymond Felton Signs With Los Angeles Clippers

Raymond Felton has found a new home. The free agent made a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, who agreed to pay his minimum salary request of $1.5 million earlier today, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The point guard played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he led the Tar Heels to a national championship before declaring for the NBA draft in 2005. He was drafted 5th overall. 

Felton played the last two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 9.5 points and 3.6 assists. He shot 40.6% from the field, 28.2% from three-point range. Having played in the NBA for 11 years, Felton noticeably saw a dip in his averages with Dallas; across his career, he averages 12.4 point and 6.0 assists and is a 41.2% shooter, 32.7% on three-pointers.
