North Carolina football is one of the programs that is a finalist for Clemson quarterback transfer Kelly Bryant. The Tar Heels have also seen the most shake-up, with Larry Fedora being fired and the consequent hire of Mack Brown.

UNC is joined by Arkansas, Auburn, Miami, Mississippi State, and Missouri in his list of six.

Bryant is set to announce his decision on Dec. 4. It sounds like he is still weighing things.

Earlier this week, he had another visit with Missouri coach Barry Odom. The Tigers are believed to be a major factor, even if they are not as flashy as some of the other names on the list. He also opted to take a trip to Auburn over Miami, which doesn't speak too well of the Canes' chances.

North Carolina football is still making a play for Kelly Bryant, and on Wednesday, Mack Brown met with the Clemson transfer.

From 247Sports:

Mack Brown hit the recruiting trail for the first time as North Carolina's head coach on Wednesday evening and his first stop was to see Kelly Bryant, his trainer Ramon Robinson confirmed to Inside Carolina.

"It went well from what I understood," Robinson said.

Before the Fedora dismissal, Bryant did an extensive breakdown of his choices with 247, and it became clear that getting to the next level is paramount to his decision.

Here's what he had to say about UNC:

247Sports: How much is North Carolina saying you're the missing piece after two off years for the Tar Heels?

Bryant: “They’ve got everybody returning next year. The experience and I can see the guys they have around (the quarterback) that can make plays. If you look at their schedule, they’re right there in the game. A lot of them. A few plays here and there.”

247Sports: With North Carolina sending Trubisky to the NFL in 2017, how much of a selling point has that been?

Bryant: “Looking at Trubisky and what a year did for him in that system (is big).”

It is unclear if Bryant will look at the Mack Brown-led Heels the same way. Brown is a national champion from his time at Texas, and coached guys like Vince Young and Colt McCoy, but his late UT teams really faltered at the quarterback position.

We'll find out sure enough in less than a week.
