Five-star small forward recruit Kevin Knox will not be making the trip to Chapel Hill this weekend, but he will reschedule.
Due to the recent water crisis afflicting the Chapel Hill area, 5-star recruit Kevin Knox has reportedly canceled his visit to North Carolina, per ESPN's Jeff Borzello. But don't worry Tar Heel fans, according to Borzello, the the 6-foot-8, 205-pound small forward "definitely plans on rescheduling."
Knox is the No. 2 ranked SF in the nation, and the No. 8 ranked player overall, per 247Sports. Aside from North Carolina, the Florida native is being heavily recruited by Duke, Kentucky and Florida State. Knox has officially visited all of those schools— except North Carolina, though he has made several unofficial visits.
The talented 17-year-old recently received a visit from Kentucky head coach John Calipari on Friday. Per, 247Sports, Knox is likely to choose Duke, but until he officially visits UNC, nothing is certain.
UNC and Notre Dame were scheduled to play today at 6 p.m., but will instead play tomorrow.
