Tonight's game between UNC and Virginia at the Dean Dome is a huge one for the ACC standings and national rankings. You can tell by the fact Michael Jordan is in attendance.

MJ doesn't always go back to his alma mater, but when he does, you can tell its a major occasion. He's there tonight watching the ACC co-leading Heels take on the fourth-ranked Cavaliers.

As you'd expect, Jordan is decked out in apparel from his own company. Check out his entrance via ESPN cameras below.

Two years ago, in one of Jordan's most recent appearances in Chapel Hill, he provided an iconic moment when he surprised fans and took the court at halftime of the regular season finale against Duke.

What began as an announcement that UNC would be the next football program to wear Jordan as a sponsor, Jordan gave a brief speech with his now famous rallying cry of "The ceiling is the roof."

North Carolina won that night, and wound up cutting down the nets at the Final Four one month later.

Right now, the Heels have some work to do. They trail Virginia 31-22 late in the first half.

UNC is currently tied with Duke atop the ACC leaderboard with a 9-1 conference record. Virginia is 8-2 in league play.
