North Carolina Names Mitch Trubisky Tar Heels' Starting QB For Season Opener vs. Georgia

North Carolina announced this morning that Mitch Trubisky will be the Tar Heels' starting quarterback for the season opener vs. Georgia. 

The junior replaced Marquise Williams behind center for UNC. 

Trubisky has thrown for 1,014 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions with the Tar Heels. He was a four-star recruit in the 2013 class.

UNC and Georgia are set to play on Sept. 3 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta as part of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff.
