Photos: North Carolina Football's Helmet Will Feature A 3D ACC Logo, New State Decal
The North Carolina football program begins its 2014 season this Saturday, when the Tar Heels take on Liberty at 6 p.m. E.T.
North Carolina will start its new campaign with slightly different looking helmets. The Tar Heels have made a couple minor changes to its lids, as North Carolina's helmet will now feature a 3D ACC logo at the top of the face mask and a new North Carolina State decal on the back.

The 3D logo is definitely a cool look, but is it practical? How many times will the logo come flying off a player's helmet? We'll find out, apparently.
