Michael Jordan gave North Carolina head coach Roy Williams a little gift for his 800th win after the Tar Heels took down Syracuse on Monday.
Led by a 20-point effort from Isaiah Hicks, the North Carolina Tar Heels cruised to an 85-68 win over Syracuse on Monday night, but it wasn't just another game for head coach Roy Williams. It would be win No. 800 for Williams, who's in his 13th season with the Tar Heels.
There was a ceremony after the game in which Williams was given a commemorative jersey, but arguably the best gift came from UNC legend Michael Jordan, who gave him a signed pair of sneakers. The players were stunned with how fresh they were.
