Former North Carolina State guard/forward Julius Hodge has been very outspoken in regards to former North Carolina guard Rashad McCants' claims of various academic violations committed by the school's athletic department. Immediately after McCants' initial allegations came down last week, Hodge took to Twitter to criticize both McCants and North Carolina.
One of the people who was left out of Hodge's Twitter rant was Tar Heel coach Roy Williams. Today, in an interview aired on ESPN's "Outside the Lines," Williams said that he basically stays out of the academic affairs of his students.
After hearing this, Hodge went after the UNC coach, saying there's no way he's unaware of his students' courseload.

Hodge does have a point: it is pretty weird that a coach -- let alone one whose integrity has been supported by the school's Athletic Director -- has no idea what classes his players are taking.
