Earlier: Five-star power forward Cheick Diallo, who originally hails from Mali but played his high school ball in Centereach, New York, has made his collegiate decision. Diallo, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound bruiser, will suit up for the Kansas Jayhawks in 2015. Diallo chose Bill Self and the Jayhawks over four other finalists - Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Iowa State and St. John's. Diallo met with Kentucky's Coach Cal and an assistant earlier in the week, leading many to speculate that UK was in the lead for his services. It appears that was not the case.

ESPN's Paul Biancardi was the first to tweet the news.
