Is the third time the charm for Town?

Ventura (Calif.) College quarterback Ricky Town committed to Alabama in high school, flipped to and signed with USC, left the Trojans during summer camp and wound up at Arkansas. Then, he left the Razorbacks for the JUCO ranks.

Now, Town is giving it another shot in the ACC.

Per 247Sports' Steve Wiltfong, the former four-star recruit will transfer to Pitt for next season. Town visited the program over the weekend.

Originally a member of the class of 2015, Town was the No. 6 Pro-Style quarterback in that recruiting cycle, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He threw for 1,160 yards and 12 touchdowns this season at Ventura.
