One of the nation's top running backs this season left his bowl game on Monday afternoon with an apparent injury. Pitt star Qadree Ollison left the Panthers' bowl game against Stanford with what looks to be an ankle injury.

Cameras caught Ollison on the sideline with a heavily wrapped ankle as he was taking off his pads. It looks as though the star running back's day is done.

The senior running back was evaluated by the medical staff before he removed his pads for the day.

Ollison is Pitt's leading rusher this season with 1,190 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns on the year. He also added 11 receptions for 66 yards.

Ollison burst onto the scene as a freshman when he racked up 1,121 rushing yards and 12 total touchdowns in 2015. After two rough years, Ollison bounced back during his senior campaign but he'll see his season end in disappointing fashion.

Pitt leads Stanford 3-0 early in the second quarter.
