Pitt coach Kevin Stallings made the wrong kind of headlines Tuesday night.
During a blowout 77-51 loss to Louisville, Stallings responded to hecklers by mocking Louisville’s involvement in a pay-for-play scandal, saying “at least we didn’t pay our guys $100,000.”
Stallings didn’t deny he made the comments after the game, and now there’s audio proof, courtesy of WHAS 11’s Whiteny Harding.
In this clip, you can hear Stallings addressing the fans.

What a mess the Stallings tenure has been so far at Pitt. The Panthers are only 24-24 on the court under him in a season-plus, the Cam Johnson transfer drama and now this.
Have to think he might not be long for the job.
