Pitt football didn't get its first 2019 commitment until last weekend. Boy have they made up for lost time.

Since Friday, the Panthers have added nine commitments. Today alone, they've picked up seven.

The latest prospect to reveal his commitment for the Panthers is three-star defensive end Brandon Mack.

It has been such a crazy weekend for Pitt, not all of the recent commits have gone public yet. They are still waiting on a couple to confirm their pledges.

June is often a busy month for recruiting. Prospects are taking visits and many are making early commitments. New recruiting rules--like summer official visits and early signing day--help speed up the process.

It isn't unusual for schools to get a lot of good news in recruiting during this month. But to have a weekend like Pitt has had is something special.
