This past December, Pitt star running back James Conner, who missed most of the 2015 campaign due to injury, announced that he had Hodgkin's lymphoma and would soon be undergoing cancer treatment. This past spring, Conner underwent chemotherapy to treat the disease - while making a few cool public appearances along the way.
Monday, Conner took to Twitter with an important announcement. He says that he just got a call from his doctor - and that his body is "clean of cancer." Obviously, this is fantastic news.
There's no word on whether Conner will be able to return to the field this fall - but either way, it's great to hear that he's healthy.
