Pitt RB James Connor Announces He Has Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Some rough news coming out of Pittsburgh this afternoon. Pitt running back James Conner, one of the most talented runners in the nation, announced Friday that he's been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Conner found out about his diagnosis on Thanksgiving morning, according to his head coach, Pat Narduzzi. Conner missed most of the 2015 campaign after an MCL injury.

Conner, in 2014, put up staggering numbers, rushing for 1,765 yards and 26 touchdowns. Our thoughts and prayers are with Conner and his family during what's surely a tough time. Let's hope he's back on the field in no time.
