Pitt's Pat Narduzzi May Have Taken A Shot At Penn State During Conference Call

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi has not shied away from taking shots at his neighbors in Happy Valley during his first year with the Panthers. During his Monday press conference, Narduzzi discussed offensive systems squandering talented quarterbacks, and it sure sounds like he was taking an underhanded swipe at Penn State.

Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg is thought of as a first round talent, and had a fantastic freshman year under Bill O'Brien, but has struggled in the two seasons under James Franklin and offensive coordinator John Donovan. We'll have to see if James Franklin has a retort this week, or if he shrugs this one off.
