Report: Jets CB Darrelle Revis Assaulted By 5 People In Pittsburgh Last Weekend

New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was reportedly attacked by a group of people in Pittsburgh last weekend.

According to KDKA in Pittsburgh, Revis was "allegedly assaulted by a group of five people" on the South Side of town. An Aliquippa, Pa. native and former star at Pitt, Revis was in town visiting friends and family.

Details on the incident are limited, but we'll update you as they become available.

The 31-year-old Revis had arguably the shakiest season of his outstanding NFL career in 2016. He recorded 53 tackles and one interception but looked to be a step slow and was not the shutdown corner he had been in previous years.

There had even been talk of a possible move to safety for Revis going forward. He is due over $15 million, including bonuses, in 2017.
