The upcoming college football season has some big shoes to fill, as the 2013 campaign was one of the best in college football history. Last year had major upsets, underdog programs coming out of nowhere and plenty of entertaining players who made every Saturday exciting. If the 2014 season can be half as awesome as the 2013 season, we’re going to see some great football.
Luckily, we have some good news: we actually think that the 2014 season will be better than 2013, and every year that has come before it. There are a bevy of talented teams and players, and with a brand new playoff system being implemented, there are tons of reasons to be excited about this year’s action. 20) The SEC Network
The SEC is the best conference in college football. At this point, that statement is not debatable. Prior to last year — when Auburn nearly won the title — its teams won an absurd seven national championships in a row. Now, the conference will get its own channel, where it will be the subject of constant news and analysis. Most importantly, the network will broadcast 45 football games. Also: analyst Tim Tebow.
