A Syracuse Fan Broke Both Of His Legs Rushing The Field After The Clemson Win

A Syracuse fan is in the hospital after rushing the field against Clemson.

Syracuse scored in improbable win over No. 2 Clemson this past Friday night, and in the aftermath, fans in the Carrier Dome stormed the field to celebrate with the players. Unfortunately, it appears to have led to a pretty significant injury for one SU supporter.

A Syracuse fan named Justin Heath, according to, broke both of his legs and shattered his right ankle when he attempted to climb over the railing and jump onto the field.

He's asked the Syracuse community to help him pay for the medical expenses - so far, he's raised over 3,300 of his appropriately-priced 4,400 goal.

There does not appear to be video of Heath's injury - which is probably a good thing for all of us.

Let's hope he recovers quickly and is back attending Syracuse fans sooner rather than later.
