When people began filling out their 2016 NCAA Tournament brackets, it's unlikely that many of them penciled in a match-up between these two double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16.

Tenth-seeded Syracuse is one of six ACC teams to make it to the round of 16, a record for one conference. The Orange advanced to Chicago by thumping 10th-seeded Dayton in round one and pulling away from the Cinderella Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in round two. The Orange are led by senior swingman Michael Gbinije and promising freshmen Malachi Richardson and Tyler Lydon. Senior guard Trevor Cooney is streaky, but dangerous as well.

Gonzaga, meanwhile, took down sixth-seeded Seton Hall and third-seeded Utah to get to this point. Big man Domantas Sabonis and versatile forward Kyle Wiltjer lead the way for Mark Few's squad, which is looking for its second-straight appearance in the Elite Eight.

Date: Friday, March 25

Time: 9:40 p.m. ET

TV Channel: CBS

Location: Chicago, Ill.

Announcers: Kevin Harlan, Dan Bonner, Reggie Miller, Rachel Nichols

Opening Betting Line: Gonzaga -4.5

Prediction: The Orange were criticized for being unworthy of an at-large berth. The Bulldogs were on the bubble until they captured the West Coast Conference tournament. Now, both teams are two halfway to the Final Four. That just shows how quickly things can change in the month of March.

Syracuse's patented 2-3 zone will forever be a tough match-up, and the Orange have the weapons to put pressure on a team offensively. Gonzaga might have the two best players in the game. This projects to be an intriguing matchup, with one team overcoming the odds and becoming one of the rare double-digit seeds to make it to the Sweet 16.

We feel like that will be Gonzaga in a close one.
