No. 3 Cuse Survives Cinci, MCW Throws Down Tomahawk Dunk

Still undefeated in Big East play.

Story: The Orange played its biggest game of the season on Saturday and after a quick turnaround faced a tough Cincinnati team today in the Dome. The Bearcats, known for their strong shooting, hung with Syracuse today, giving Orange fans a scare.

Syracuse trailed late, but Michael Carter-Williams and Brandon Triche helped the Orange crawl back with huge buckets. Carter-Williams hit a three-pointer to tie the game with just over a minute left. On the next offensive possession, Jerami Grant drove and missed a shot that Fair eventually tipped in to take the lead with just 22 seconds left. That's all the Orange would need as a strong defensive stand rendered the Bearcats helpless in the final seconds.

Highlight of the Night: This viscous slam dunk from Carter-Williams near the end of the first half.
