Coming off of a disappointing 2014-15 campaign, Syracuse basketball will look very different next season. The team loses All-American center Rakeem Christmas to graduation after his magnificent senior season, forward Chris McCullough is entering the NBA Draft, and role players B.J. Johnson and Ron Patterson are transferring out of the program. Despite their upcoming moves, all four players, including Christmas, who was working out in preparation for the draft in Las Vegas, made it back to Central New York for the Jim & Juli Boeheim Foundation's Basket Ball.
The four outgoing Orange players could have skipped the charity event, but instead they all showed to support their former teammates and coaches. Very classy move by Christmas, Johnson, McCullough, and Patterson.
