Photo: Jim Boeheim's Jacket From His Ejection At Duke Is Auctioned Off For $14,000 At Charity Gala

The Jim & Juli Boeheim "Basket Ball" Gala raises millions of dollars for cancer research and to help local youth in Central New York. The event's annual auction is an excellent opportunity to score some incredibly unique pieces of Syracuse basketball memorabilia. One of this year's coolest items—the jacket that Boeheim famously tried to tear off as he stormed the court at Duke before being summarily ejected for the first time in his career.

The Boeheim and his jacket became an instant hit meme in the sports world, and one lucky Syracuse fan now owns it, after reportedly ponying up $14,000 at tonight's gala.
