Tonight, the Syracuse Orange took on Notre Dame in the Carrier Dome, just two days after beating Duke in an overtime thriller. Syracuse was far from perfect, appearing sluggish throughout much of the game, but at least several fans brought their A-games — a group of students in Otto’s Army held a sign of New Jersey governor Chris Christie’s head, accompanied by a poster that read “we’re closing all lanes to South Bend”:

Of course, Christie has been under serious fire lately for allegedly orchestrating traffic jams at George Washington Bridge by closing lanes in order to punish a local mayor, a claim which he vehemently denies. The jams delayed ambulances which led to the death of a woman, and Christie has been under investigation.
So these Syracuse students don’t just watch basketball — they have been keeping up to date on their politics too, and tonight they tied the two things together perfectly, although in quite a bold fashion.
