Pitt Takes Down No. 6 Syracuse

The Panthers are on a roll.

Score: Pittsburgh 65, No. 6 Syracuse 55

Stars:Pittsburgh:Tray Woodall 13 Pts, 5 Reb, 4 Ast. Syracuse: C.J. Fair 20 Pts, 3 Reb.

Story: It's just not easy to win on the road in the Big East, and Syracuse found that out at the Petersen Events Center, often referred to as the Oakland Zoo. Pitt displayed a very balanced offensive attack, finishing with seven players scoring at least six points and four players with at least three assists. The Panthers have suddenly won five of their past six games in conference play.

On the Syracuse side, it appeared as if only C.J. Fair came to play. The forward was 9-13 on the day for 20 points, but had very little help from any of his teammates. It marked the second straight dropped game for the Orange, who were coming off an overtime loss vs Villanova. Syracuse will have a quick turnaround as Notre Dame comes to visit the Carrier Dome on Monday.
