Statistics Guru Nate Silver Gives Odds On Final Four

Who's he got?

Nate Silver jumped to national prominence over the past year when he predicted a winner in the Presidential Election despite a close race. Silver loves numbers and finds a way to give odds on almost anything. Silver is rarely wrong. Still, the NCAA Tournament is hard to predict.

Silver took to Twitter to predict the odds that different teams would make the Final Four:

Based on these tweets, Silver's Final Four has the best chance to be made up of Gonzaga, Indiana, Florida and Louisville. It looks like the West and South regions are the most wide-open. Ohio State is close behind Gonzaga while Kansas is right on Florida's tail.

Georgetown, at just seven percent, has the worst odds out of any two-seed. Syracuse is the lowest seed (4) in the top-two spots of a bracket, sitting in front of the two seed, Miami, and the three seed, Marquette.
