One of the major concerns with Syracuse's move to the ACC was the loss of a number of classic Big East basketball rivalries. The Orange have done a nice job retaining many of those games, with series against St. John's and Villanova already underway, and games beginning against archrival Georgetown this coming season.
The one major missing rivalry has been UConn, but that could change this Thanksgiving. Both Syracuse and UConn are in the same side of the Battle 4 Atlantis bracket. If Syracuse beats Charlotte, and UConn gets by Michigan, we'll finally see the two former Big East powerhouses back on the same court.

Syracuse and UConn fans love to hate each other, but we know they'll both be amped up if the two teams meet this November. They have to get past the opening round matchups first, of course.
