Story: It's been a rough few weeks for the Orange. The offense has struggled to score and the team got crushed in its last ever visit to Georgetown. But the Big East Tournament represents the start of a brand new season with the ability to have a fresh start. That fresh start is exactly what Syracuse got.
The offense finally got things together, shooting over 50 percent from the field and 60 percent from deep. Guys like Triche and Southerland, who floundered against Georgetown, picked up the slack and scored when SU needed them most. If the offense finally found its rhythm, watch out.
Seton Hall kept it close in the first half but couldn't stop the Orange in the second. Even the big men were scoring, something that has happened all year. Christmas and Keita combined for 14 points, including a couple big time slams.
'Cuse is back in action tomorrow against Pittsburgh. The Panthers took down Syracuse earlier this season but the Orange was without James Southerland. How much of a difference maker will he be? We'll find out tomorrow.
