Syracuse's Michael Carter-Williams' House Destroyed By Fire During NCAA Tournament Game

Just awful.

Michael Carter-Williams will be playing with a heavy heart for the rest of this year's NCAA Tournament. The Syracuse star's family's house was destroyed by fire during last night's Orange victory over California.

According to wcvb.com, the fire took hours to get under control, but thankfully everyone inside the house was able to get out unharmed. Syracuse.com reported that Carter and his mother, Mandy Carter-Zegarowski, were made aware of the incident in San Jose (the site of the game). Carter-Williams tweeted out the below this morning:
