Conference play is in full swing, as College Football Week 6 rolls around.
That means plenty of big match-ups between Power Five teams, and a few big rivalries on Saturday.
Texas and Oklahoma face off at the Cotton Bowl in the Red River Shootout on Saturday afternoon. LSU travels to Florida for what has been a pretty intense game in recent years.
Some struggling programs have chances for big wins on the road. Florida State could really turn its fortunes around at Miami. Nebraska heads to Wisconsin, winless under Scott Frost.
We also have a fun Notre Dame trip to Virginia Tech, marred a bit by the Hokies’ recent loss to Old Dominion. The Fighting Irish look very dangerous with Ian Book installed at quarterback. A win in Blacksburg would really get some more College Football Playoff talk going.
Now, for our picks this week…
After Week 5, here are The Spun’s staff pick standings.
