UPSET ALERT: Syracuse Blows Out Undefeated Louisville

The Cuse needed a win.

It's all over at the Dome. Syracuse has beaten Louisville, 45-26, dropping the Cardinals from the ranks of the unbeaten. Syracuse moves to 4-2 in the Big East and 5-5 overall. Louisville falls to 4-1 in the Big East and 9-1 overall.

Despite the loss, Louisville still controls its fate and can win the Big East title by winning out. The Cardinals play UConn next week, and Rutgers in their final game.

Syracuse now leads Louisville, 45-19 with 11 minutes to go. It's been a dominating performance overall for the Orange, who appear to be on their way back to a .500 mark and a 5-5 record.

Second Half Update: Syracuse has just scored again and now leads 38-13 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. There is a ton of time left, but its tough to see Louisville coming back in this one - its defense has just been awful.

The Carrier Dome faithful are getting quite the treat so far today. Syracuse, 4-5 overall, leads Louisville, 9-0 overall, 31-13 at the half.

Prince Tyson-Gulley has rushed for two scores, and Ryan Nassib has connected with Alec Lemon for two more.

The second half is about to get underway. Can the Orange hold on?
