Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon had actor Greg Kinnear on last night, and the two began to discuss the NCAA Tournament. Kinnear talked about how he was rooting for his alma mater, number one seed Arizona, while Fallon doubled-down on the team he threw his support behind last year, Syracuse.
If you're unfamiliar, last year Fallon discovered Syracuse center Rakeem Christmas, and was a fan of his name, and the fact that the Orange big man wore number 25 to go along with it. Throughout tournament time, Fallon gave away bushels of Oranges to fans sitting in the seat with the number that corresponded with the number of points Syracuse scored in the previous round.
After the interview, Fallon challenged Kinnear to a "random object shootout", where the Late Night host declared that he was playing for Syracuse.
Fallon is an alumnus of Albany's The College of Saint Rose, so he may also have some love for the fellow Upstate New York school. Either way, Syracuse fans should embrace Fallon's fanhood. The Orange did make a run to the Final Four last season.
