Video: Southerland Returns, C.J. Fair Dunks, Cuse Wins

Longest home winning streak in the nation.

Score: No. 9 Syracuse 77, St. John's 58

Stars:St. John's:Jakarr Sampson 21 Pts, 6 Reb. Syracuse: C.J. Fair 17 Pts, 9 Reb. Michael Carter-Williams 17 Pts, 8 Ast, 6 Stl, 4 Reb.

Story: The Carrier Dome crowd roared as James Southerland stood up and walked to the scorers table for the first time at home since January 2nd. After his appeal hearing on Friday, Southerland was declared eligible and stepped onto the court today, picking up right where he left off. He hit three 3-pointers and provided some experience and length on defense in his 26 minutes off the bench.

The Orange cruised past the Red Storm, giving Jim Boeheim his 35th 20-win season. To put that in perspective, he's only NOT gotten 20 wins twice in his career. Syracuse also extended its home-court winning streak to 37 games, better than any school in the country.

C.J. Fair threw down one of the nastiest dunks of the year, but it was called an offensive foul. #OrangeNation and others disagreed.
