Video: The National Anthem Ahead Of The 'Battle At Bristol' Was Absolutely Incredible

A view of the National Anthem ahead of the "Battle at Bristol."

The 'Battle at Bristol' got started with a bang during the national anthem sung by Jennifer Nettles.

Tonight's 'Battle at Bristol' between Tennessee and Virginia Tech broke the record for attendance at a college football game. The pregame ceremony might have broken a record for patriotism.

Ahead of the contest, country music star Jennifer Nettles sang an incredible version of our national anthem. To boot, fans in the stands were given cards to flip - displaying our nation's flag on both sides of the stadium. The end zones featured "U-S-A" spelled out.

There was also a massive American flag in the center of the field. Check it all out:

With the 15th anniversary of 9/11 falling tomorrow, this was a great display. Let's hope the game gives us goosebumps too.
