Vine: Virginia Tech's Isaiah Ford Hauls In A Touchdown Despite Defensive Pass Interference

It's been a tough game for Virginia Tech today. The No. 17 Hokies currently trail East Carolina at home, 21-7, after the Pirates came out and scored 21 points in the first quarter. However, the two teams are now at the half, and the Hokies have cut into the lead a little, thanks to an impressive touchdown grab by WR Isaiah Ford.

While it does look like the ball may have hit the ground, the call stood as a touchdown, and Ford deserves all the credit. He was being harassed by Pirates' DB Detric Allen, and was focused enough to grab the ball while he was essentially on the ground. This was exactly what the Hokies needed heading into the locker room.
