Virginia Tech basketball picked up a huge win and a huge loss on Sunday night.
The Hokies beat rival Virginia in overtime to improve to 17-7 overall and 6-6 in the ACC. However, in the process, the team lost one of its top players for the remainder of the season.
Guard Chris Clarke will miss the rest of the year with a torn ACL in his left knee, the Hokies announced tonight.

Clarke was averaging 11.4 points, a team-high 7.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
He scored five points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists last night before getting hurt.
