Virginia Tech vs. Syracuse has been a colorful watch for those tuning in on ESPN.
Syracuse is, of course, wearing its namesake orange, as is tradition on the road.
Orange is also one of Virginia Tech’s primary colors along with maroon, but the Hokies broke out some very bright pink uniforms for tonight’s game.
They may want to considering doing it a bit more often.
The No. 10 Hokies are absolutely on fire to start this game, which is about to go to half.
Buzz Williams’ squad is up 43-24, behind a barrage of three pointers from the Hokies. Virginia Tech is 10-for-18 from deep against the SU Zone.
These Virginia Tech pink uniforms are an effort to support Coaches vs. Cancer.
Tech asked fans to wear pink for the game as well.
Tonight @HokiesMBB & staff aid the fight vs. cancer with pink uniforms & sneakers. #CoachesVsCancer
And I will wear this in honor of my dad (Mark) as he continues his battle with Multiple Myeloma. Grateful to know that he is listening!

Admittedly, the pink vs. orange is not easy on the eyes.

At least its for a good cause. And I’m sure there are no Tech fans who mind based on this start.
