Tony Bennett has built Virginia into one of the best programs in college basketball, though until Saturday night, the Cavaliers had yet to reach a Final Four.

UVA has won the ACC in four of the last six seasons, but disappointed in the NCAA Tournament most years, reaching the Elite Eight just once (in 2016) and never the Final Four.

That changed on Saturday night.

Virginia topped Purdue in the game of the NCAA Tournament.

The Cavaliers made an incredible game-tying shot at the end of regulation and went on to win the game in overtime.

Bennett celebrated the win in deserving fashion:

Virginia will now attempt to win two more games and bring home a national championship to Charlottesville, Va.

The Cavaliers will play either Kentucky or Auburn in the Final Four on Saturday night.
