Update: The school’s equipment Twitter account has given us a close-up of the jerseys, pants, helmet and decal for Saturday. It looks like they haven’t made any changes from the 2012 version.

Earlier: After a tough 2013 season, the Virginia Cavaliers are much-improved this year, posting victories over Richmond and Louisville and putting up a fight against two ranked opponents – UCLA and BYU. Saturday, UVA will be honoring one of its most successful teams – the squad from 1968 that featured star running back Frank Quayle, the ACC Player of the Year that season.
Virginia will be wearing the same throwback uniforms it debuted back in 2012 for its game against Kent State.

The helmets have a decal dedicated to Quayle as well. UVA fans – are you happy the team is bringing them back?
