Update: Wake Forest's Josh Harris Has Eligibility Restored

Not good news.

Update:Per CBS Sports' Chip Patterson, the NCAA has restored Harris' eligibility as-of this morning. Harris won his appeal and will be able to play during the 2013 season. Needless to say, this is a huge lift for the Demon Deacons' program.

Earlier: This week, most college programs are officially kicking off their college football season as teams begin fall camp. However, while most players are ready to go, Wake Forest found out this morning that it may be without a very key player. According to Dan Collins of the Winston-Salem Journal, running back Josh Harris has been ruled academically ineligible to play this fall:

If Wake Forest loses the appeal, it will be without a player who was expected to be a big contributor in 2013. In 2012, Harris rushed for 608 yards on 137 attempts, scoring five touchdowns.
