4-Star Baylor Early Enrollee Tren'Davian Dickson Wants To Transfer From Program

Another high-profile recruit wants out of Baylor. The catch for four-star wide receiver Tren'Davian Dickson: he's already on campus. The Navasota, Texas native enrolled at Baylor on January 11, but with the scandal that has rocked the program, leading to the ouster of Art Briles, Dickson told 247Sportsthat he is looking for his release.

"Yes sir, I have filed for a release," Dickson told Taylor Hamm of 247Sports on Wednesday.

When asked if he would transfer and sit out a year if the request is denied Dickson responded, "Maybe. I don't know. I need to talk with my parents about that first."

Baylor has come under scrutiny for its unwillingness to release some members of the 2016 class from their letters of intent. Dickson is the first enrolled player to request his release, but obviously is yet to play for the Bears. He was once committed to Texas, and according to the 247Sports report, Texas A&M is "under serious consideration," should he leave BU.
