Baylor 4-Star RB Signee Kameron Martin Has Reportedly Asked For Release From Letter Of Intent

Kameron Martin, a four-star running back in the 2016 class committed to Baylor, has reportedly asked for his release from his national letter of intent, according to ESPN.com's Max Olson.

The 5-foot-10, 178-pound prospect out of Port Arthur, Texas is ranked the No. 7 all-purpose back in the class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He signed with the Bears in February.

Olson says Martin does not plan on enrolling next week.

This obviously comes as a result of Baylor firing head coach Art Briles amid the program's sexual assault scandal. Martin tweeted this yesterday.

The status of the Bears' program is clearly pretty cloudy, so more recruiting bumps are probably on the way.

Martin, the No. 267 player in the class, originally committed to Baylor over Florida State, Texas and Texas A&M.
