Baylor Freshman Quarterback Jarrett Stidham Has Added Over 20 Pounds Of Muscle Since Enrolling In January

Jarrett Stidham was one of the top recruits in Baylor's 2015 class. The five-star quarterback, who 247Sports ranked No. 1 among dual-threat players, has apparently made some serious gains since arriving in Waco in January. According to USA Today's Paul Myerberg, Stidham has put on between 20-30 pounds since January.

Stidham is listed at 195 pounds on the Baylor roster, which we assume is not up to date, and on his 247Sports profile. Based on pictures from last fall and Baylor camp last week, it definitely looks like he's made some serious strides in the weight room.

Junior Seth Russell is expected to lead the explosive Bears offense this season, but Art Briles has a serious talent in Stidham waiting in the wings.
