The Baylor football program has made headlines over the last 24 hours in the worst kind of ways.
Former Boise State, and now former Baylor, defensive end Sam Ukwuachu was sentenced to 10 years felony probation and placed in county jail for 180 days Friday evening after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a former Baylor soccer player.

After back and forth, conflicting statements from former Boise State head coach Chris Petersen and Baylor head coach Art Briles regarding the recruitment of Ukwuachu, Baylor University decided to make a statement of its own, announcing an internal investigation into the matter.

It will be interesting to see what Baylor finds during its internal investigation, but as the story unravels, it’s beginning to look like it won’t end well for somebody.
