While most of the attention in recruiting is paid to star quarterbacks, running backs, and other skill position players, a great kicker can be a game-changer for a program as well. Last week, Florida flipped ASA College Miami product Eddy Pineiro from Alabama. Today, the nation's top high school kicker Quinn Nordin announced the three schools that he will take official visits to.
Two of the schools are not major surprises; Nordin has been a Penn State commit since July, and the Michigan native has been heavily recruited by his home-state Wolverines. The third will go to the most recent school to offer him: Baylor.

Some schools avoid recruiting kickers heavily, but a good one is well worth the scholarship investment. With offers from big programs like those three, along with Georgia, Michigan State, and others, Nordin appears to be a huge talent.
