Noah Daniels was Baylor's first post-Art Briles commitment. He backed out of that on November 27, and now has a new top five schools.
Daniels, a three-star cornerback from Clear Creek High School in Texas, announced his new top five via Twitter on Thursday morning: Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, and Utah.
Daniels had originally committed to Baylor back on July 20 before decommitting on Sunday. With his decision to take his recruitment elsewhere, Baylor is left with just one commit: safety Jalen Pitre.
Whichever head coach takes over the Baylor program has some serious work to do to salvage the class of 2017.
Daniels is ranked No. 68 among all cornerbacks in the class of 2017, per 247Sports. The site also has him ranked No. 93 in the state of Texas.
He also holds offers from Arkansas, Purdue, Texas Tech, and a slew of Group of Five schools.
