As a reward for winning the 2019 NCAA women's basketball tournament, the Baylor Lady Bears got to visit the White House this week. But as has now become almost a tradition in the Trump administration, the food the team was served isn't exactly a banquet.

Photos from the Baylor women's basketball Twitter page show that the team was served a combination of Burger King and Wendy's at the White House dining room.

Good time at the State Dining Room!

The wider world was shocked earlier this year when the Clemson Tigers were served a similar meal following their national football title. The FCS national championship-winning North Dakota State Bison were also fed fast food.

At this point it's becoming a little hard to tell whether President Trump seriously thinks this is appropriate or is just trolling all of us.

The Lady Bears trounced the competition in the regular season, going 28-1 en route to the Big 12 regular season title - their ninth in a row.

Baylor would follow up that performance with a Big 12 Tournament title win and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.

In the tournament, the Lady Bears would beat Abilene Christian, Cal, South Carolina, Iowa, Oregon, and Notre Dame to claim their third national title in 15 years.

They deserve all the awards and accolades they've been given - but maybe more than a few Whoppers and chicken sandwiches...
